Howdy,
I am Howard H. Gano, Jr., the “LONE REPUBLICAN” in District
148, and I am running for STATE REPRESENTATIVE. I am a
native Houstonian and I have lived in the Heights area for
approximately 15 years. I am a practicing CPA with my own
firm and have interests in real estate, oil and gas, and
stocks. My family includes my wife Dianne, my son of eleven
years Montgomery, and three dogs Calamity, Rose, and Callie.
Also, I am an advisory director to the Alley Theatre, a
member of the University Area Rotary Club, and Assistant
Treasurer of the Institute of Energy Research in Houston. I
also support various free market activities such as the Free
Enterprise Institute in Houston, the Atlas Economic
Foundation in Virginia, the Institute of Justice, and the
Foundation of Economic Education in New York. Other
interests of mine are hunting, fishing, golf, and collecting
guitars. |
